Light Output The FlameBulb is designed to create a warm aura similar in light output to a candle or gaslight. Actual output is five to seven foot candles (for layman, think of it as roughly equivalent to five to seven watts). Economical The FlameBulb's LEDs are rated to last 100,000 hours. That's over eleven years! You'd have to buy 10,000 candles or over 100 light bulbs to last as long. Unless you can buy 10 hour candles at 2 for $.01 or 100 hour light bulbs for $.05 each; the Flame Bulb will save you money. Safe Flame Bulb is a much safer alternative to burning candles in your home. Some Perfect Applications The FlameBulb looks fantastic as a single light source in dark areas, e.g. sconces, and copper lanterns.
